I have no idea what to title this! :)

I have to first apologize because I have not been updating my blog like I have in the past. I guess the newness of it all is starting to wear off. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy posting pictures and writing tidbits on here but I just haven't found the time to "play"! I promise I will post some more pictures soon. I have pictures of Lacey getting her soccer trophy, her completed and organized room, and pictures of her for crazy hair day. All coming soon!
Ok, so now that you know I don't have any pictures to post let me tell you a few of Lacey's cute and funny sayings...

The other day I was getting her out of the car and I had her unbuckled but she was taking her dear sweet time. I had about 5 bags of groceries in my hands, the mail, the keys, etc. Well I told her "Lacey, hurry up and get out, my hands are full with the groceries!" She looked at me and said, "Momma, that's not my fault!" What do I say to that? Stop talking back or true? Especially to a 4 year old! How witty!

Ok, another one...She won an ipod shuffle at school for being the top seller in her school. Well she came home that day and said, "Mommy, I won a shovel at school today!" I said, "You did! What do you do with it?" She said, "Mommy, you know you dig with a shovel!" Too cute! Oh, and by the way, we have this apple ipod shuffle thing and don't have a clue what to do with it. I looked it up at Walmart.com and they are selling for $75 so it seems like a good prize but I am clueless about this type of technology! Ok, so I am exaggerating just a little...I do know what to do with it but does it take a long time to download 500 songs...and what 500 songs am I going to put on there for a 4 year old? Oh, I know, her favorite song...Apple bottom jeans and the boots with the fur, and the whole club was looking at her!! HA!
I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL day and I love you all!!! Thanks for reading and taking a look into my crazy world as a mother!

A beautiful promise!
Windy day, just messing around!

Lacey dressed up as Dorothy! We've watched the "Lizard of Oz" about 50 times! The cake I made for Madison's birthday. My first attempt with fondant pieces and actually making the fondant myself. That was pretty fun!

Cookies I made!

The twins' birthday party.

The girls wouldn't stand closer together to have their pictures taken. Atleast we got them to finally smile!
Donald, Tigger, Pooh and Handy Manny
Handy Manny with his talking tools! Mickey and Minnie at the clubhouse.
Mickey looks a little drunk....Sorry Mickey! He doesn't know which door to go in or out!

Ok, next is a project Lynn and I decided to tackle at about 7:00 Sunday night. We took everything out of Lacey's closet, toy boxes, bookcases and went through and organized it. These are the before pictures. I'm not going to post the "after" pictures just yet because I want to take them this weekend and show Lynn that Lacey's room is still clean and organized! Thanks for your help!

Just a few little tidbits. No pictures though! :(

Ok, so Lynn told me I should write a few of Lacey's crazy sayings down on here that way I won't ever forget them. Here goes....
I went for a parent conference yesterday and the teacher is showing me Lacey's work. Well on one piece of paper it is a picture of me and her and it says My mom and I are laying on the couch. And I think, ohhh how sweet she drew a picture of me and her on the couch. BUT, the next picture is My Daddy plays with me outside while I drive my Barbie car and takes me to the Japanese Steak Restaurant. And a picture of the cook with the tall hat and the knifes! Ugghh! Mommy lays on the couch and daddy takes her out to eat. Boy was I embarrassed after that!

Ok, so now another story. I got pulled over the other night and Lacey started crying when I told her the police was stopping me. The officer asked me if my child was ok and I said, "yes she is just scared!" He gave her candy to calm her down but the whole time she was whimpering in the backseat. The only reason he pulled me over was I forgot to turn my lights on. Now, every time I get in the car, day or night, Lacey informs me to turn my lights on! And is afraid that we will go to jail if we don't have them on!

One morning before church I pulled out a cute navy dress with hot pink polka dots and asked her if she wanted to wear that and she said, "No, that looks too Madisonny!" I don't know what Madisonny looks like but apparently Lynn dresses Madison a certain way and we should just hand over that dress to Madison.

At the ballgame the other night, while sitting with our principal (our boss) and several other teachers. Lacey looks at our principal and says while pointing her finger, "You know Babs (that's what she calls her) that's why I call you the BOSS!" Everybody heard her and died laughing! She was so animated in her speech it was too cute! And of course the prinicpal loved being called "The Boss!"

Ok, I'm sure I could go on and on and on. But that's all I remember for today. We have soccer tonight so I'm sure it will be fun!
