Flower in Carolyn's yard. Easter pictures.....COMING SOON! The FAT hummingbird that has been staying in my front yard. I have been trying to catch him in flight. That little joker moves fast! I zoom in and the minute he takes off flying I lose him and have to zoom out to find him and then it's too late! I'm going to get a good picture one of these days! The squirrel at the park! Lacey wants a pet squirrel like the ones on the movie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

Father-Daughter Softball lessons!

Ok, so my pictures are once again out of order...but you get the idea!

Wow! Daddy! Doesn't Daddy look like he's concentrating hard? Look at the admiration in our little girl's eyes! Ok, so I just about had to pull teeth to get her to pose like this!
This one too, but I like the way they turned out!

Lacey and Zane outside one afternoon learning the basics of softball. Zane taught her how to throw overhanded and also how to hold the bat. While in the middle of the overhanded lesson, Lacey felt like that reminded her of the umpa-lumpas on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! So we had to dance a little too and sing the umpa-lumpa song! Oh, the attention span of a 4 year old!

Mommy and Daughter's Day Out

Saturday we did our hair and makeup, and yes, Lacey had to have her hair curled and makeup put on. Usually she's very tomboyish but not for girls' day out! We went to Walmart and bought a few things for Easter, then went to the Pilgramage, looked at the art and the ladies dressed in their frilly dresses. Then we looked at the Corvettes (Grandpa would be proud). We then got ice cream and sat under the gazebo and watched traffic go by! After that we went to Burger King to play and back to the house. Once at the house we stained the rocking chairs and porch swing and Lacey did a great job! I sat the rocking chairs out in the yard and gave her a small paint brush and let her have at it! I came by every once in a while to catch the drips but they turned out nice. She did a good job and didn't get much stain on her! :) These pictures are out of order but you get the idea!
